I am Nejat Ahmed Juhar, currently a senior undergraduate student studying in the Department of Press and Publication at Anadolu University. 

Before jumping into the answer to what motivated me to create this blog, I would like to share why I got into press and publication. When I was in fifth grade I had to change schools; a new environment I didn't know anyone. I was the quiet shy kid until one day my teacher asked me to read a book for the whole class and I did that is when I discovered I was comfortable being a voice. Everyone was impressed by how comfortable I  was in the spotlight and the way I read. After that, my teacher advised me to read books and to write as well. I got so inspired by all the positive response never stopped reading, writing and researching new things going for the truth and with that, I am perusing my dream of becoming a journalist. 

Alongside this, I want to share stories of minorities. Rather than being a voice for the minorities I believe in passing the microphone to them. I want to be a platform where minorities are the main focus. As a woman of colour who grew up in a third world country I was fortunate enough to come here and pursue a quality education, a career I am passionate about and being an influencer and a platform to voice the unvoiced is very important to me.

    I believe blogging is the perfect place for me to chase my dream of becoming a journalist.
