The differences of youth in two parts of the world

The difference of the younger generation in these two different countries, Ethiopia and Turkey, is not surprising more like expected. The environments they are raised in, economic background, the political effects, social and cultural difference are the major factors causing these variation.

The challenges of youth in Ethiopia are mostly related to financial issues. It may not be an economical problem that is happening at the moment it can be assuring a good income for the future. How to be self-sufficient and have better life than the parent. These thinking’s are not necessary raised by the youth them selfies it comes from the pressure of the family and/or the society. Being part of a community where the majority is working for survival. Generally in Africa and even may be in other places as well there is the thought of not only being successful by yourself but after wards paying back to the family or the society that scarified to raise you, it can be called the African Tax.

Therefore, the majority of youth in such areas like Ethiopia is forced to make important life decisions like choosing a profession thinking the future income and financial stability. For instance, the respected and common carrier choice are medical doctor or engineering so the majority youth is flowing like a river to this classes without thinking if that is their talented field of study.

On the other hand seeing at the same age group in Turkey they are more stable in these areas. So the priorities of life has taken another dimension for the youth of turkey. They go for self-searching and looking for identity or getting life heroes. In this area is where we find the gap and self-lose in the Turk young generation.

However, in saying all of this I am not saying the youth in Ethiopia or Africa are all like this but the majority falls around this range.

So let me conclude with a simple example the youth in Africa is raised with in a life style more or less like outdoor living, traveling by foot or climbing trees and hills for day to day routines their dreams by working hard are to avoid this way of life style . And on the other hand here they are live to a comfortable full life indoors that they miss the natural environment going back outside saying picnic and hiking!!
