Ask me my friend shoes, ask my lectures shoes, ask me my dormmates shoes even my classmates shoes, I know what kind of shoes as I wear.

As I am quite observant about shoe, I started searching about the story behind shoes. While doing that I came across to an interesting research that done by The University of Kansas. Have you ever think that your shoes is speaking or telling about you probably not, and you’re not the only one many of us might not think so.

Shoes were first invented and made by Jan Ernst Matzeliger. He developed an automatic method for lasting shoes and made the mass production of affordable shoes possible. Up until 1850, shoes were made straight, meaning that there was no differentiation from left and right shoes. As the twentieth century approached, shoemakers improved comfort by making foot-specific shoes.

Where did the idea of shoes come from?

Great question, according to google the answer is as follow, In Mesopotamia, a type of soft shoes were worn by the mountain people who lived on the border of Iran. The soft shoe was made of wraparound leather, like a moccasin.
